ABOUT

Children have so much to offer, we must be attuned to them

Eco Early Learning & Bush Kinder recognizes that children are competent individuals who have many strengths and abilities. We understand that all our communities share a common goal, that is, the best possible outcomes for the child. To achieve this, we recognise that embedding the family's aspirations, the educator's knowledge and understanding of early childhood theory and National Quality Standards is essential. We will provide a safe and nurturing space for children to practice, take risks and explore allowing them to gain many new tools for future use.

Eco Early Learning is not just a childcare centre, it is a play where children below 5 years old learn and get ready for school age.

Connect. Grow. Shine.

For the best possible outcomes to be achieved we identify four critical elements:

Strong, Powerful & Meaningful Relationships

Cultural Heritage & Understanding

Partnerships and genuine communication

Rich Documentation of children's learning, thinking & capabilities

Guided by our highly trained educators, we practice the national quality standards set by the united nations rights of the child and code ethics. We create a nurturing early childhood cimmunity from the very first encounter
Strong, Powerful & Meaningful Relationships

The educators work in partnership with families and children, as co-constructors, researchers, documenters and advocates for our children as we believe that children are capable of constructing their own strategies. A genuine commitment to inclusion and respect for diversity role models to our children, the values of respect and acceptance.

SUSTAINABILITY

At Eco Early Learning, we instill a deep commitment to sustainability in our Eco. We believe in a powerful integration of indoor and outdoor environments, both equally valuable for learning and development. Our practices teach children the reasons behind sustainability and its long-term benefits for the planet.

We integrate sustainability into daily routines, including:

  • Using recyclable materials

  • Promoting water conservation

  • Encouraging recycling

  • Teaching about electricity usage

  • Engaging in 'seed to plate' activities

  • Caring for plants and waterways

  • Promoting recycling

  • Planning sustainable excursions

We invite our families and community to join us in embracing sustainability as a commitment to our children's future. Share your ideas with our educators to help create a better tomorrow.

Animal Logic

Caring for chickens, rabbits, and reptiles nurtures empathy in Eco. Our garden's micro-habitat attracts birds, and insects. We also maintain a worm farm and composting barrel. Engaging in scientific activities and play develops engaged and active learners.

ANIMALS

Our pets at Eco Early Learning provide children with the opportunity to observe, interact and learn about animals and it can be a valuable part of their education and care experience, enriching their learning about nature, ecology and relationships.

By caring for our birds, rabbits and insects Eco Children learn about empathy, relationships, compassion, the environment, and nature, and working on our goals in creating a kinder tomorrow.

The garden naturally attracts birds, bees and insects to this microhabitat where everyone plays their part. Our worm farm and our composting, support our sustainability focus, thereby developing engaged and active learners.

NUTRITION

We embrace the beauty of fresh, local meals and the joy of sharing them. Our produce is grown on-site, lovingly harvested by our Eco. We don't just celebrate this approach; we live it.

We consider smell, texture, and flavor to match the developmental stages of our Eco. Our dedicated nutritionists from Nourished Beginnings collaborate with us to create whole-food seasonal menus in alignment with our Eco Philosophy, respecting indigenous culture.

We cater to the nutritional needs of all Eco, including those with dietary requirements. Our chefs work closely to provide parents with peace of mind, addressing food allergies, cultural considerations, and special needs, all while maintaining a healthy dining experience.
